This allows Sensible Sensory Spaces, LLC to collaborate with your child’s therapist to gather his or her recommendations on your child’s specific sensory needs. Sensible Sensory Spaces, LLC will also inform your child’s therapist of the sensory equipment included in your child’s sensory space so that he or she is aware of your in-home sensory opportunities when setting up sensory diets and home programs.

Sensory Space Consultations

A Sensory Space Consultation includes a 1-1.5 hour in-home consultation to discuss your child’s sensory needs to determine the most appropriate sensory space for your home. A licensed Occupational Therapist with sensory integration experience with help you brainstorm the best area in your home to set up a sensory space. You will discuss key pieces of sensory equipment and how to incorporate them into your home. Resources for purchasing and installing the most quality equipment for your money will be provided in addition to DIY money saving recommendations. Elements of color and lighting will also be discussed because such elements are often overlooked, but very important when creating a sensory space. Prior to the in-home consultation and with written consent, Sensible Sensory Spaces, LLC will consult with your child’s treating Occupational Therapist to gather his or her input into your child’s sensory needs.

Sensible Sensory Package

This package includes:

An in-home consultation (1-1.5 hours)
Prior to the in-home consultation and with written consent, Sensible Sensory Spaces, will consult with your child’s treating Occupational Therapist to gather his or her input into your child’s sensory needs
Sensory equipment package including: a tunnel, therapy/exercise ball, ball pit in a bag, and tactile bins
Follow up email to client summarizing resources, references, and information discussed during consultation
Follow up email to child’s treating therapist to inform him or her of the equipment incorporated into the child’s sensory space. This information is helpful to treating therapists when devising and suggesting sensory diets and home programs

Custom Builds

Custom installs and custom builds can be added onto any service or sensory package. Examples of custom installs and custom builds include but are not limited to: painting, light installation, swing hook installation, swings, and purchased or custom built sensory equipment. Custom installs and custom builds are individualized and will be priced accordingly. Custom installs and custom builds can always be added when convenient and as budget allows. If you already have a budget in mind, Sensible Sensory Spaces, LLC can design, decorate, and install a sensory space for you from start to finish. This includes decorating your room and designing your sensory space including any necessary installations, purchasing equipment, and setting up the sensory space. You will be amazed at the big reveal! Sensory spaces can be created no matter how large or small the budget.
